We took the bullet train back and forth to Hiroshima. It was a sobering visit and the students were very respectful of our volunteer tour guides at the Peace Park, one of whom was a survivor of the bombing at Hiroshima. The brand new museum is gorgeous and heartbreaking. Many new exhibits are open, very different from last year’s visit. Dinner back in Kyoto and a little more touring, including getting to the top of Kyoto Tower. All in all a great day!
