On kindness…

In our busy world and our busy lives, we need to remember the simple acts of kindness that allow us to connect as human beings. We need to model this kindness for children. When they see us lose patience, look through someone or dismiss another’s humanity, they learn. We do need to walk the walk and talk the talk. The best of our human interactions assumes good will, aspires to make a positive change in the world and offers hope for a future that is optimistic, not pessimistic.
